SHARPTON TARGETS NADER OVER OBAMA COMMENTS: Rev. takes issue with Ralph questioning senator's blackness.

*Al Sharpton barely had time to deal with this week's Don Imus flare-up when Ralph Nader made headlines for saying that Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama "talks white" and ignores issues of poverty.
Nader, a consumer activist and presidential candidate on the Independent ticket, told Denver's Rocky Mountain News Wednesday:
"I haven't heard [Obama] have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos. Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What's keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn't want to appear like Jesse Jackson? We'll see all that play out in the next few months and if he gets elected afterwards."
Asked to clarify whether he thought Obama does try to "talk white," Nader said: "Of course."
Sharpton's response was swift.
"I don't know how one 'talks black or white,'" wrote Sharpton in an email sent to members of the media. "There are clearly different styles and speech cadences in every community."
In closing, Sharpton said Nader's comments were "beneath the respect many have had for you and more importantly below the level of political discourse we need at this point in history.
"Those of us that deal with real people in real pain in the black community every day need real answers and real change and that is more important than the volume or style in which it is presented."
Obama, meanwhile, said Nader is "somebody who is trying to get attention and whose campaign hasn't gotten any traction. So what better way to get some traction than to make an inflammatory statement like the one that he made."

Hi, Everyone--
Sorry I've been MIA this week, it's just been really busy in the office and we're working hard and excited about our latest Codeblack film "The Adventures Of The Blue Carpet Treatment" staring the one and only SNOOP DOGG (gotta love em'). Below is a brief synopsis of the film. It's in stores next Tuesday, June 24! So go out and get...you'll love it, I promise.

The Adventures of the Blue Carpet Treatment is a psychedelic stream-of-consciousness trip through the magical mind of Snoop Dogg. This feature-length animated film showcases music from Snoop's smash hit album "The Blue Carpet Treatment," along with cameos and guest voices from many of hip hop's biggest stars. The Adventures of the Blue Carpet Treatment takes you to the streets of Long Beach and beyond in a sexy, violent and slightly twisted musical journey, compliments of your Bigg Boss Dogg.

Hi, Everyone—
Hope your week is going well. I’m just popping in to see if you all had a chance to check out our 30 second clip of LAST HOUR and FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Please tell me what you think and also what you want to see on this blog!
So I’m going to back track here and talk about some other films that are definitely worth watching. Please check out THE AMAZING GRACE and 500 YEARS LATER. I’ve posted the synopsis of both films below and let me tell you both of these films will leave you extremely proud of your lineage…at least I know I was.
THE AMAZING GRACE
John Newton is a captain of a slave ship moored off the coast of Nigeria. He stands at a crossroads in his life, his morality and religion at odds with the brutality of his chosen profession. Stepping ashore, he starts on a journey of redemption that will end in tragedy but prove the catalyst for greater achievements. A local anthem sung in adversity by the slaves he captures punctuates the film. It will be the inspiration for John Newton's redemption, and, years later, for his writing of the world's most enduring hymn, Amazing Grace.
500 YEARS LATER
Crime, poor education, poverty, self-hatred, incarceration, broken homes plague people of African descent globally – why? From the onset of the African Holocaust of enslavement and colonialism, Africans are still struggling for basic freedom.
